The
Bopha Devi journey began in 1998 with a vision to create a
unique dining experience to honour Cambodia & its people
through food. Our first restaurant opened a year later in Yarraville.
It was ground breaking for the area & our unique &
stylish renovation has been a landmark in Yarraville's renaissance.
And it was also the birth of Melbourne's first Cambodian restaurant.
Khmer
cuisine is an exotic fusion of Chinese, Indian & French
influences. Our food is light, delicate & healthy. An
emphasis is placed on freshness of ingredients & simplicity
in cooking, allowing the complex aromas, textures & exhilarating
flavours to shine. All of our dishes are inspired from my
Mum's traditional recipes & cooking.
Our
second restaurant & bar opened in New Quay, Docklands in
2005 and marked another exciting chapter for Bopha Devi! Over the past
3 years Melbourne has embraced our new Quay restaurant and I
am so proud to be able to share my culture and food with a
broader audience.
The whole team at Bopha Devi look forward to seeing you soon.
